Un manga anim\u00e9 con\u00e7u par un ma\u00eetre japonais du genre, voici la nouvelle arme antitabac \u00e0 destination des jeunes de 14 \u00e0 20 ans. Pour les inciter \u00e0 ne pas commencer \u00e0 fumer, les responsables de l’Institut national de pr\u00e9vention et d’\u00e9ducation pour la sant\u00e9 (INPES) ont choisi cette id\u00e9e originale, qui, d’apr\u00e8s eux, touchera les adolescents en utilisant les codes d’un univers qu’ils appr\u00e9cient.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ce dessin anim\u00e9, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Koji Morimoto et intitul\u00e9 \u00ab Attraction \u00bb sera mise en ligne d\u00e8s mardi prochain sur www.attraction-le-manga.fr. Le court-m\u00e9trage, d’une dizaine de minutes, etait \u00e9galement diffus\u00e9 au cin\u00e9ma, du 24 novembre au 28 d\u00e9cembre, en premi\u00e8re partie du film \u00ab Harry Potter et les reliques de la mort \u00bb, ce qui lui assure d’embl\u00e9e une audience de quelques millions de spectateurs\u00e2?\u00a6<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>Avis des experts<\/h2>\n

Selon les responsables de l’INPES, \u00ab l’univers du manga se pr\u00eate particuli\u00e8rement bien au message appelant \u00e0 r\u00e9sister contre le tabac \u00bb. Explication: \u00ab Il met en sc\u00e8ne des h\u00e9ros qui se battent dans des univers o\u00f9 le bien et le mal se confrontent de mani\u00e8re m\u00e9taphorique. Cette forme de narration a pour but de les faire s’interroger sur leurs capacit\u00e9s \u00e0 r\u00e9sister aux manipulations de l’industrie du tabac qui cherche \u00e0 les s\u00e9duire. \u00bb<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dans le film, qui a co\u00fbt\u00e9 300000 \u00e2?\u00ac, trois jeunes ados, Hiro, Ren et Koichi, d\u00e9ambulent dans une rue du Tokyo de 2040. La cigarette, qui n’est pas montr\u00e9e explicitement et seulement \u00e0 la fin du film, est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par un personnage intrigant et charismatique qui les plonge dans un \u00e9tat d’hypnose.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Les trois jeunes ont des personnalit\u00e9s diverses : l’un est raisonnable, l’autre plus casse-cou, le troisi\u00e8me fait preuve d’une grande curiosit\u00e9.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Le choix d’un mode de communication radicalement nouveau s’explique par l’\u00e9chec relatif des diff\u00e9rentes strat\u00e9gies de lutte contre le tabac men\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s de la \u00ab cible \u00bb jeune. M\u00eame si la consommation de tabac chez cette population est plut\u00f4t \u00e0 la baisse depuis les ann\u00e9es 1990, 55% des filles et gar\u00e7ons ont exp\u00e9riment\u00e9 le tabac \u00e0 15 ans, tandis que 18% d’entre eux fument quotidiennement.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Les prix ont pourtant augment\u00e9, et les campagnes \u00ab moralisatrices \u00bb n’ont pas manqu\u00e9 en direction des jeunes, en essayant de les sensibiliser sur les risques pour leur sant\u00e9.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Probl\u00e8me, les jeunes rejettent tout sentiment de d\u00e9pendance \u00e0 un produit. \u00ab Le risque de cancer du poumon dans vingt ans ne leur parle absolument pas \u00bb, souligne l’Institut national de pr\u00e9vention et d’\u00e9ducation \u00e0 la sant\u00e9.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Reste \u00e0 savoir comment les adolescents r\u00e9agiront face aux nouveaux visuels \u00ab chocs \u00bb montrant des malades atteints de maladies graves li\u00e9es au tabac, qui appara\u00eetront au printemps prochain sur les paquets de cigarettes.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
